Plastic Bag Stash Buster Progress

I'm making progress on the project I blogged about here. Man, cutting and ironing this stuff takes a long time! I am ready to be done.


Laying out the folded bags on the ironing board. You can see the stack of pieces that have already been fused on the floor.


Peeling the fused plastic off of the copy paper barrier.


I had my windows open with fans running to suck out the nasty fumes, and I had my mask on the whole time I was ironing.

I've fused all my bags now, so next I'll stitch the plastic pieces together to make plastic fabric, and then use the fabric to make a tote bag!
