When I went home for the holidays my brother had this neat old unused General Electric iron. A friend of our family had gotten it from an estate sale. The store receipt, which was in the box, says it was purchased in 1960 for $11.28. Pretty cool.

Did you plug it in and try to use it? Maybe a little dangerous but can't help asking!
ReplyDeleteNo- but my brother claims it has never been used, and he has it in his ironing cabinet and plans to start using it if his modern one stops working...so we will see!
