What is Recess Fest? It's basically a weekend jammed full of bands, parties, and potlucks, and the cool thing is that none of the events overlap. The idea is that in the same night, you can go see several shows at several of Charlotte's underground music venues and music houses while only paying one cover fee. I think the goal is to foster a closer-knit music community in Charlotte and support local and touring artists who are making music now (but don't quote me on that). Looks like it will be a good time!
