Help in the Studio

Amanda's friend Sarah was in town this week and I guess Amanda convinced her that it would be fun to help out a local artist, so Sarah came and helped me for a few hours yesterday. It was great talking to her about her current forrestry job out West, her experiences at MerleFest, vintage hunting, and hoarding (???) It was so wonderful to have a helper in the studio! She tackled a big project for me- sorting hundreds of vintage buttons by color so that I can find them easier when I need them. She also helped size down the colored tissue paper I use for packaging. I was able to work on sewing while she did this, so we got a lot done yesterday! I was stoked.

So...if YOU have a free 3 hours one day and you'd like to come hang out in my studio, chat, listen to music, eat candy and help me out with some task...please let me know! I'd love to have the help. I work on Saturdays and Sundays too! (I'm off on Friday).

  4. Amanda- yeah the hoarding conversation did spring from a "collecting vintage stuff" conversation...don't you have a storage space somewhere full of vintage stuff?

Everyone should listen to what Verabelle's intern, Kimi, said above...and then volunteer to help me or another Crown Town Handmade artist next week!!
