A Beautiful Bloom for a Stunning Bride!
In September I worked with bride-to-be Jin to design a Hand-Burned Bloom for her fall wedding. She had approached my table in NoDa one Friday with her fiancé Chris and thought one of my blooms would make a good last-minute addition to her wedding day hairstyle. She wanted a statement piece, and we came up with a harvest orange bloom with a sienna center. She also wanted two sienna blooms with moss colored centers to add some extra elegance to the dresses of her adorable flowergirls. Many hand-sewn pearls later, here are the stunning results. (We ended up improving the piece after this photo by removing the brass button and replacing it with more pearls and Swarovski crystals.) All photos taken by the amazing Chuck Eaton Photographers.
I love how she effortlessly pulls off the statement flower and the veil together. Jin proves that you don't have to choose!
