My boyfriend of five years, Dan, proposed to me back in August at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art. He waited until the end of our meandering trip through the museum and in a darkened archway in front of a beautiful Degas piece, he gave a beautiful speech, pulled a lighted ring box out of his sock and proposed! Of course I said yes! What a sweetie.
We are just starting the process of planning this happy occasion, and I want to share the details with you as we go! See a little story about our engagement in the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art's August newsletter.
The piece:
Edgar Degas
Femme s’essuayant après le bain, 1883
43 in x 24 1/2 in, Pastel and charcoal on paper mounted on board
