The Durham Farmers' Market opened for full Saturday hours this weekend, April 4th. The market was packed with shoppers and there were kids and dogs playing in the surrounding green areas. In my opinion, the Durham Farmer's Market has an edge over the Charlotte one because the market in Durham really is the place to be on Saturday morning, plus many come from Duke University, which is in walking distance. I was there checking out my mom's space- speckled bird farm- and I took some photos in between checking out the fresh tomatoes, garlic, and herbs. See the slideshow below:
